Locke- Innate Ideas
On the discussion of innate "unlearned" ideas, Locke talks about moral knowledge. I feel that the basis of life is innate. No one told the world how to reproduce themselves until our populations are over populated. No one tells mothers that if there baby is in trouble to come fierce at whoever is making the trouble. No one tells the childrens minds how to automaticaaly do certain things for themselves. I feel that it ties into who we are as people from our self identity.

I agree with you that everything ties together and we are who we are as people from our self identity and life is innate because you learn things. Like the example you used about mothers, a mother doesn't learn to do something if her child is in trouble..it's just her instinct.
I think you are right about it all ties into who we are and are identity. I think that children learn for experince. For example if a children has to take care of themself from a young age they will learn to be indepent. I know that this is much deeper then that too. However I believe that certain things in life shape the person's indentity.
Im not sure if i believe this. I don't think that life is innate. We learned how to do things by watching others. Not everyone has those instincts to be good mothers and help their children. That is why some mother's abandon their children
i agree with Erin all ties into who we are and are identity. I think that children learn for experince. When we start developing from babys top kids and to teenager by each step we start getting experience nothing comes right away.
